Welcome to the Chapters Home

This is a private organization. It is not a part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and it has no governmental status.

Eielson AFB is a small LOA chapter that pack a big punch!  Located about 20 miles from Fairbanks Alaska and just 100 miles from the Article circle makes for an interesting chapter. We have many interesting experiences and challenges for logistics due to both our austere location and arctic weather patterns.

Unlike traditional wings, we have prepare, deploy, and enable missions that all stretch the wing in many directions. The wing commander, refers to Eielson AFB as the "unsinkable aircraft carrier" which is fitting to describe the various operations that occur here. From deploy/employ the Army or hosting X300 the base populations during Red Flag-Alaska operations, or the Mobile Training Teams for the 354 AMXS and 18 AGRS--there is never a dull moment.

The Chapter's mission is simple to expand and enhance the professional development of our members.

Some interest in our area are:

USAF Train

Power Plant (Coal)

Ft Wainwright Army Post

Clear Air Station (US Space Command)
