Greetings from the Deid! Our local chapter is up and running now
that permanent party summer rotation season is over. Over 20 LOA
members recently attended two chapter-sponsored luncheons. BG (Sel)
Ted Kreske, 379 AEW Commander and LOA member, addressed the
August luncheon regarding leadership, followership, and “Creechification.”
Former United Nations Command Korea Commander Army General (Ret)
Gary Luck met with members early September. As a senior leader
mentor for Joint Forces Command’s Joint Warfighting Center,
General Luck offered a unique perspective on AOR operations and
joint logistics. Finally, we’re pleased to note that our Chapter
Advisor and Maintenance Group Commander, Col Tom Ragland, will
be a speaker at this year’s convention. Col Ragland will update
the convention regarding Al Udeid’s impact as “the single most
important power projection platform in the theater.” |
