Members from the Iraqi Armed Forces

Two of the newest members of LOA are Iraqi Maintenance Officers.  They’ve been through the rough equivalent of AMMOC and received one on one training from USAF maintenance officers to operate at the wing level including policy, practices and procedures. The two aircraft maintenance officers are assigned to the 23rd Transport Squadron—the first post-war airlift unit in Iraq.   The 23 TS has been flying DV support missions for high level Iraqi government officials and CENTAF taskings helping to fly cargo mitigation missions.  Developing professional logisticians is the foundation of LOA and our members are hard at work all over the world making that goal a reality.
