Rainier Chapter tours Fort Lewis Directorate of Logistics

Members of the Rainier Chapter at McChord AFB took a professional development tour of the Directorate of Logistics and the I Corps G4.  They received a tour of the Ground Maintenance Shop, the Installation Supply Division (to include the Hazmat Supply and Distribution Center), and the newly opened Strategic Mobilization Center.  LOA attendees gained valuable insight into the world of Logistics on an Army post and reestablished the valuable connection with Ft Lewis logistics officers, paving the way for a Joint LOA chapter at McChord AFB.  They left the tour with new ideas to apply at McChord and a broader concept of the military logistics operations.  This is another great example of the professional development opportunities LOA provides.
