The Desert Eagle Expeditionary LOA Chapter is proudly renowned as the Air Force’s first expeditionary chapter.   Supporting Operations ENDURING and IRAQI FREEDOM from an air base in Southwest Asia, its members comprise a mix of permanent and deployed personnel assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, and Combined Air Operations Center.

Serving in the AOR offers unique challenges and contingency experience that can’t be found in any other environment.  The goals of our organization are to enhance camaraderie and share our experience among fellow logistics officers from the Maintenance, Logistics Readiness, and Contracting career fields.

CHAPTER OFFICERS

· AF/A4R brief.  The chapter was pleased to welcome Lt Gen McCoy at one of our LOA dinners.  During the evening, Lt Gen McCoy shared his thoughts on logistics transformation and what it holds for the future. 

· ELRS Fuels tour.  Our recent tour of the 379 ELRS Fuels facility was a huge success.  Members enjoyed a great discussion on mission and capabilities, followed by static displays and various workshops.

· We need a coin!  If you’re an aspiring Michelangelo with artistic skill, we need your help to design a coin for our chapter. 

· Rotator cleaning.  We’re on the list for rotator cleaning.  Hopefully we’ll get an  opportunity to raise some cash in December or January.
