ARTICLE
I: General
SECTION 1 – Name and
Location. The name of the organization shall be the Logistics Officer
Association, Hill Air Force Base Wasatch Warrior Chapter, hereinafter referred to as the Hill
LOA. The principle mailing address of the organization shall be the organization’s
current Secretary. Meeting of members shall be held at such places designated by
the Executive Council.
SECTION 2 – Purpose.
The purpose of the LOA is to enhance the mission of the United States Air
Force through concerted efforts to promote quality maintenance, professional
development of logistics officers, and an open forum for leadership, management
and technical interchange. LOA seeks to enhance the professional stature of the
logistics officer and improve the logistics environment.
SECTION 3 – Method of
Accomplishment. To accomplish said purpose, the Hill LOA shall:

Promote the professional development of its
members in the field of logistics;

Interface with the logistics populace of Utah to
provide an active awareness of current logistics issues;

Develop, recommend, and support programs dedicated
to improving logistics in the Air Force and the Department of Defense;

Promote the active exchange of ideas within the
Air Force and among other military services and private industry;

Provide assistance to senior leadership;
-
Perform such other duties as assigned by the
President.
SECTION 4 – Liability.
All members must be informed that financial liability incurred by their private
association fund may (unless the fund is incorporated) ultimately result in
individual personal financial responsibility, if the fund fails to discharge
obligations, even though the fund meanwhile may have been redesigned or
dissolved.
SECTION 5 –
Restrictions. This organization shall be nonprofit, nonpartisan, and
nonsectarian.
