ARTICLE II: Membership
SECTION 1 Qualifications.
Every person shall be eligible for membership in the Hill LOA who meets the
following guidelines:

A professional
logistics officer, or civilian equivalent GS-9 or above on active duty
with, or retired from, the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve or
Air National Guard.

A Commander,
Director, or equivalent who commands, directs, and/or manages professional
logistics officers.

A professional
logistics officer, or civilian equivalent GS-9 or above, on active duty
with, or retired from, another Military Service under the Department of
Defense and other Military Services under other countries' Departments of
Defense.

A member of a
military-related civilian organization who is the equivalent of a
professional logistics officer.
SECTION 2 Types of Membership.

Active Member. Those members qualifying and
selected under the above will be known as active members with authority to
vote and hold office. All active members of the Hill LOA must be members
in good standing with the National Logistics Officers Association
(national dues paid in full).

Honorary Member. Membership conferred upon an
individual as a compliment. Such membership confers no rights or
privileges.

Associate Member. This type of membership can be
extended to corporations, organizations, associations or individuals who
do not qualify under the above. Nominations must come from a member in
good standing, be reviewed by the Executive Council, and receive a majority
vote from members at large. Associate members may serve in an advisory
capacity, but may not vote or hold office.
SECTION 3 Dues. Membership
dues shall be payable at intervals and rates as determined by the general
membership.
