ARTICLE VII: Amendments
SECTION 1 – Executive Review.
The members of the incoming Executive Council shall review these bylaws within 60 days of taking office. The
Council will review for currency and
content and, if necessary, propose changes to the general membership.
SECTION 2 – Petition for change.
Any
active member of the Hill LOA may petition the Executive Council to present a
proposed amendment for vote by the general membership.
SECTION 3 – Approval.
The general membership must have 30 days to review the proposed changes. A vote
will be scheduled for the next regularly scheduled meeting. Approval by
two-thirds of the general membership present at the vote is required to pass the
amendment.
