MEMORANDUM FOR LOA RAPTOR CHAPTER MEMBERS

SUBJECT:  Meeting minutes for Friday, 13 November 2002, LOA meeting:

            The purpose of the meeting was to learn about the buildup and sustainment of Ganci AB, Kyrgyzstan.  One of our own contracting officers, Capt (sel) John Dingeman gave a video and slideshow briefing on his experiences in the desert as well as his role in the fight against terrorism.  The following issues were also discussed:

Old Business:

-          Raptor Chapter Web Site is up and running.  www.loanational.org/tyndall.

-          ER – If would like to submit an article for the ER contact Maj Koerkenmeier for details.

-         Future LOA Trips

--             F-22 Plant Tour in Marietta, GA Jan/Feb timeframe (POC: 1Lt Joe Deporter)

--             NASA trip to Patrick AFB?

-         If you have ideas for future meetings please contact our Nov/Dec meeting planner 2Lt Keith Benko.

-         Membership Dues

--             October was membership month so if you haven’t done so already, please give 1Lt Joe Deporter your $12 yearly donation. 

New Business: 

-         We are hanging a framed LOA sketch in our O-Club from this year’s conference, hopefully near our LOA table so keep a heads up for it. 

-         If you have ideas for presentos for guest speakers please contact Maj Koerkenmeier. 

-         If anyone would like to be the POC for developing a LOA Raptor Chapter coin please contact Maj Koerkenmeier.

-         If you have any recommendations or suggestions to make the LOA better, or something you’d like to see discussed at future meetings, please let Maj Koerkenmeier or Capt Vessels know.
