Logistics Officers Association Fuji Chapter

 

What is LOA:

LOA is comprised of over 3,500 military officers and civilians in logistics fields around the globe. The purpose of the Logistics Officer Association is to enhance the military logistics profession. LOA provides an open forum to promote quality logistical support and logistics officer professional development.

LOA Vision:

“Educating and uniting a dynamic membership base to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of Air and Space Forces today and tomorrow.”

Mission Statement:  The purpose of LOA is to enhance the mission of the United States Air Force through concerted efforts to promote quality maintenance, professional development of logistics officers, and an open forum for leadership, management and technical interchange.  LOA seeks to enhance the professional stature of the logistics officer and improve the logistics environment.

 

Goals:

Educate- Hold chapter meetings every third Wednesday of the month. Discuss topics representative of all eligible disciplines (maintenance, logistics readiness, contracting) –Take advantage of guest speakers sharing wisdom and experience within the Logistics community.  Conduct professional development tours; learn how other organizations tackle similar issues.  Encourage maximum participation in the LOA Conference, build relationships and learn in person from current AF Logistics leaders.

Unite the Membership- Maintain an e-mail list to effectively communicate with all chapter LOA eligible’s, including IMA and civil service personnel. Create an organization of Logisticians that communicates within its self and
learns from its members.

Enhance Readiness and Effectiveness
– Use the organization to make improvements in the way we fight. Logisticians learning from Logisticians to make the US military an even more effective and efficient machine.
